Description
The XLG‑50 Series from Mean Well is a robust 50 W AC/DC LED driver engineered for constant power output. It operates across a wide input voltage range of 90–305 VAC and achieves up to 90% efficiency. With a metal housing rated IP67, it withstands case temperatures from –40 °C to 90 °C in natural convection mode, making it ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor lighting applications.
This Mean Well LED driver XLG-50 series features built-in active PFC, true constant power mode, and class-2 power unit safety. In “no-load” or standby mode, power consumption stays below 0.5 W. An adjustable output current via potentiometer and 3‑in‑1 dimming (0–10 VDC, 10 V PWM, or resistive) give it exceptional design flexibility and dim-to-off functionality, while ensuring full isolation for safe separation of output and dimming circuits.
Mean Well guarantees long-term reliability with a service life exceeding 50,000 hours and a 5-year warranty. The XLG‑50 Series complies with the latest IEC 61347, GB 7000.1‑2015, and UL 8750 safety standards, and includes short-circuit, over-voltage, and over-temperature protections. It’s an excellent solution for demanding LED lighting projects requiring high performance and ruggedness.
